This Travel Tissue Cover is a fun little project that is great for using up those odds and ends of fabric that accumulate in all sewing rooms. These 4" wallets are one of my favorite handmade items to make and use. My wallets are a slight variation on a pattern from Palm Harbor Patterns. Pre-quilted fabric has pros and cons, but it can be a beautiful option for a handmade purse. Recently I had a customer who bought a length of pre-quilted fabric that she loved, and she wanted me to construct a purse for her. I accepted the mission, and this is the result. After ruining my previous cell phone by dropping it repeatedly on our hard floor, I decided to make a padded pouch to protect my new cell phone. I checked out some cell phone pouches online to get a general idea what they look like since I'd never made one or owned one before. I came up with the design that you see above.
